ABOUT PILI-PALA

Pili-Pala is the brainchild of Emma Kamio, with the name deriving from the Welsh word for butterfly.

Being a natural carer, Emma’s life's work is healing. Her greatest passions have become homeopathy and Pilates, both with the principle, “Less is more.” These two disciplines are the foundations of Pili-Pala; healing the mind, body and soul.

ABOUT Emma

Director of Pili-Pala

Emma’s extensive background in health is authenticated by her numerous qualifications. It began having trained as a nurse, working in gynaecology and obstetrics in both the UK and Australia and went on to gain a Shiatsu diploma whilst living in Japan.

Since having children, she trained at The Welsh School of Homeopathy and has over twenty years experience. This includes working as a homeopath within the NHS and further studying in India alongside Dr. A. U. Ramakrishnan, before publishing her book.

In 2005, she opened The Natural Health Service, an alternative therapy clinic as well as founding a birth pool hire company where she began gaining experience as a Doula. Due to the wonders of technology, Emma has been able to be virtually present at births to give people support and prescribe remedies.
