This workshop concentrates on the concept of Pilates. You will learn the basic techniques; alignment, breathing, core engagement which will form the foundation of your regular Pilates practice.The class will also cover a deeper understanding of the pelvic floor and it's engagement, the importance of muscle balance and posture types and much more. It aims to teach fundamental Pilates knowledge, essential in a class situation.
Whilst this workshop is primarily for beginners,those currently attending a class may also benefit from this workshop. It will help serve as a reminder of the basic technique and principles whilst offering a chance to discuss and question any problems or concerns (not often available in a time constrained class).
You are guaranteed to leave the workshop with the foundations of Pilates firmly practised and understood,a greater knowledge of the benefits of Pilates and a considerably deeper understanding of your body, it's ability and potential.
